WHAT IS CSP? CSP, South American Paintball Circuit is a tournament series run by Mercenarios Paintball Store. Our main goal is to unite and increase the competitive level of the South American teams. The idea came in year 2001 when Mercenarios made the first South American Championship in São Paulo, Brazil, with temas from Brazil, Argentina and Chile. As that championship became stronger, more and more players in those countries showed interest in participating, thus in 2005 we decided to make a circuit, with tournaments in those 3 countries, all under the same rules, with a ranking. So started CSP, under the organization of Mercenários. As soon as we started to advertise it, we were contactec by a league formed by players from Ecuador, Venezuela and Colombia, asking to be part of it too... This way, CSP started bigger than it was supposed to be, with tournaments in 4 countries: Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Colombia, with players from 8 South American countries. In 2006 CSP was made part of UPBF - United Paintball Federations, that includes PSP, Millennium, CSP and Asia. On top of that, we had a change in our structure, and the series grew, holding tournaments in 6 countries: Equador (Monosalvaje), Chile (GXS), Brasil (Mercenários), Peru (Perupaintball), Argentina (300 FPS) e Venezuela (AVP). In 2007 Aruba joined CSP through Aruba Madness, replacing Venezuela. With the inclusion of this new leg we then had players from the Caribean islands too, and we put together players from 12 countries. CSP is the result of a very hard work and the enormous cooperation among the 6 orgnizers of each country, to whom no effort is too much when it comes to put South American paintball in the same level of USA and Europe. We make CSP for the PLAYERS. To them we dedicate all our work, as it's on them that depends the future of our sport. Contact:
